AJK EARTHQUAKE RELIEF PROGRAM 2005-2007:
After the 8th October, 2005 horrible earthquake, MAWA worked in
front line for all the three phases which include initial relief
and rescue services, rehabilitation services and reconstruction
services. A very significant contribution on behalf of our community
was rendered through MAWA at this tragic event. The Relief Program
was managed professionally by team of experts and thousands of volunteer
through out Pakistan.
MAWA provided the Relief of around 13 Million for the following
services in this relief program:
a) Cloths and food service.
b) Medical Rescue and relief service.
c) Family Support Service.
d) Refugee Complex Service.
e) Khaima School/College Service.
f) Students Scholarships Service.
g) Students Hostel Service.
h) Roof Shield for Reconstruction Service.
i) Small Loan Service.

PARACHINAR/DIKHAN RELIEF PROGRAM 2007-2009:
The fire of humanitarian violence blown since April 2007 in Parachinar
has affected all parts of society. The life is completely halt due
to road blocks from last 2 years. People are forced to live even
without basic necessities of life i.e food, health and education.
MAWA having an objective of urgently providing relief services after
any disaster, regardless of race, creed, gender or political inclination
has also played and effective role in this tough time.
MAWA provided the Relief of around 2 Million for the following
area of services to the victims of this area:
a) Medicines.
b) Family Support Service.(Families of martyrs)
c) Patient Support Service.(for different operations and placement
of artificial limbs)
d) Students Scholarships Service.

DIKHAN RELIEF PROGRAM 2008-2009:
The terrorist activities in all part of Pakistan are in focus to
the international media and human rights organizations. This tragic
disaster is of big challenge
to the Pakistani peoples in specific and to all in general. Dera
Ismail Khan is one of those targeted areas where these problems
happened on daily basis. MAWA always play its role in all national
and international crises or disasters. Our Relief Program for this
area is distributed in the following services:
a) Patient Support Service.
a. Ambulance Service.
b. Blood donation services.
c. Food Service.
d. Moral Support Services.
e. Referral Treatment service.

c) Students Scholarships Service
This Relief Program is working with the close cooperation of Dera
Ismail Khan Local NGO UMEED in Islamabad.

GENERAL WELAFARES:
The general welfare involves various queries and requests of peoples
that arise for the help in different areas i.e. referring a patient,
sponsoring a patient, arrangement of some qarz-e-hasna for student’s
fee, help for some needy bewa/Orphan etc. A request form is available
with Introducer, attestation and attached photo copy of cases. These
information are then circulated to our donars and friends for their
knowledge and sponsorship.
