The ambulance service was started for providing the patient support services for various deserving persons and for any emergency need. A complete survey was conducted to identify the exact need and utilization of ambulance service in various hospitals and finally Holy Family Hospital was selected for MAWA ambulance service program. Proper permission was taken from MS of Holy family hospital, Rawalpindi for ambulance’s legal permit. Now ambulance can be contacted by patients from Holy Family Hospital, RWP. However, ambulance is also used for medical camping and blood donation services.
